BREEDING PLANS 2008/2009 Maya - Q'Celtic Dolce Vita
Maya is CEA, PRA, PRED, KAT HD-A and ED 0-0 CEA/DNA NORMAL CL/DNA NORMAL and TNS/DNA CARRIER Maya is the youngest of our brood bitches, not quite 4.5 years old. She is a happy, cheerful and energetic black & white young lady with a big heart and a lust for life. Her pedigree includes an excellent Australian line and many other worthy ancestors. Maya is also the litter sister of the multitalented in sports Thaia. As I said I don't train sports but Maya is an active bitch who loves toss and fetch, and who now seems to have caught the "frisbee bug". This will be the second litter for our "easter chick" a long time in the waiting and therefore much anticipated To be Maya's husband we have chosen a young and extremely promising stud-dog with australian heritage - Fire on Ice of Maranns Home HIT - 'Flann' Junior Hungarian Champion & Junior Club Star 2007 - 3 x Jr W & 3 x Best Junior & CAC & res CAC & resCACIB & 3th place - Champ of Champs Winner 2007 & 4 x ex I, II & BOB Flann is ee oz red and white, shows young talent in herding as well as in obedience ring and in show successes. Flann is CEA/CL/TNS/DNA NORMAL, PRA, PRED, KAT -Free ( June 2008 ) HD-A and ED 0-0. Flann is medium coated and has very nice, strong, sport-athletic but not heavy build, Flann is a young dog, not even 2 years old, with his own individual charm, has a fantastic character and a great appearance as you can see below !!! 
With the breeding of Maya and Flann we are expecting a healthy litter of pups with a classic appearance of a show dog and the varsatile talents. The pedigree from this pairing will produce pups with an outstanding heritage and we expect well balanced pups with and excellent show appearance and great proportions. However, Flann has the potential from his pedigree to produce pups not only b/w but also ee oz red and carry dilute, chocolate and sable as well. We decided to have this dog sire Maya though solely on the merits of his working credentials, appearance and character. We don't really however expect to get a litter other than B/W from this pairing. We hope that Maya and Flann litter will be born around the Winter 2008 / Spring 2009 :-)))
We would like to say that these are our current breeding plans, and if for any reason we are not able to see them through, them of course we will inform you of any changes to these plans. Forecasts as to the colour of a litter of pups is a theoretical exercise, based on the lineage of a litter, but it sometimes manages to surprise all the same, which makes the birth of a litter even more of an emotional event.
